- TKO is seeking a systems engineer with experience working on software engineering teams to help with the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex and mission important systems. This role will be responsible for the shaping the modernization efforts for the program and take advantage to new technologies and innovative solutions.​

Required Skills:

- Design, document, and develop high quality, scalable solutions, and secure software execution.

- Collaborate with the section system architecture with the systems current design, future design and how to bridge between the two.

- Collaborate with cross functional teams of varying skills and abilities to integrate software components into a functional system.

- Assist in discussions and documenting steps needed to migrate systems off MASH services and onto C2S (AWS)

- Monitor system performance and provide feedback and solutions to optimize performance and improvements.

- Collaborate with teams and customers to capture requirements for designing new systems and optimizing existing systems.

- Report up to senior leadership on status and progress updates.

- Provide recommendations and shape the direction of development to leverage modern technologies and techniques.

 

Desired Skills:

- Strong understanding of systems design, architecture, and general best practices

- Experience with cloud services, DevOps, and CI/CD

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
