Location: Product Support Facility (PSF) on Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado Springs, CO

As a Systems Engineer-IT, you will:

• Coordinate, develop, and integrate new systems in both physical and virtualized environments

• Develop and install upgrades to existing systems

• Develop scripts to improve system administration and deployment automation

• Develop and apply cybersecurity solutions

• Troubleshoot issues and provide support across the information system

 

Basic Qualifications :

• Active DOD SECRET clearance

• Must Meet DOD 8570 Requirement (current

• Security+ or similar)

• Strong Windows (including Windows 10 &

• Server 2016) administration/engineering

• background (typically 4+ years direct experience)

• VMWare (or other virtualization platform)

• administration experience

 

Desired skills:

• PowerShell scripting experience highly desired

• Windows patching experience using WSUS

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Experience developing Ansible playbooks

• Experience using Git, GitLab, ClearQuest,

• ClearCase, VersionOne, or similar tools

• Strong understanding and application of

• cybersecurity practices (STIG compliance,

• system accreditation, etc.)

• Container experience (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Solaris

• administration experience helpful.

• Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance

• Exceptional troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Interpersonal relationship skills are a must.
